The Reset Retreat

All the details for your weekend 12-13 June.

 

I hope this finds you warm, well and dry.  As our retreat draws nearer I wanted to give you more detail on our weekend together.

 

Firstly I’m excited to announce two  special guests who will be joining us on the retreat. 

To bring in a fresh perspective and challenge our thinking:

COLETTE VAN BOXTEL

Business mentor & Entrepreneur 

Colette is motivated by connecting with people, encouraging others in life and business. Born in Holland but currently living in Christchurch, Colette is the mother of two beautiful boys. Martin, her partner, was recruited from Holland to work for an international company in New Zealand, which is why the family is now living in Christchurch.

She owns a consulting agency HOOVR | Consulting and is a New Zealand Business Mentor. Colette has spent a lot of time in offices being responsible for campaigns, marketing and sales, which gave her invaluable experience in strategy execution and business management. She has worked with well over 500 professionals, executives and business owners across the world.

 

And to pull together our thinking alongside our bodies:

ABBEY PARSONS

Physical Wellbeing & Movement teacher

Abbey comes from a dance background and movement is in her bones. She loves the challenges and freedom that comes with running a business and balancing this with being mum to two handsome fellas and wife to one more. Abbey is an Educator and teacher trainer with Polestar Pilates and is Board Chair at her boys’ school.  She loves to educate and mentor to help others to reach their potential.

Her studio, Movementor Pilates is a specialised Pilates studio where clients come to learn about functional movement and whole body well-being.  Movementor is not about ticking the exercise box, but focuses on intelligent training to achieve and maintain awareness, balance and control throughout life. 

 

Here’s our itinerary: 

Saturday

10am Arrive at Hanmer Springs Hotel*

10.15am – 12.15pm Coaching workshop 1 including Colette’s journey.

12.30pm Lunch at hotel

1.30pm – 5.30pm – your time to rest, walk, relax at pools, enjoy the day spa.

3pm-3.45pm optional Pilates session. Please let me know if you’re interested.

5.30pm-6.30pm – Happy hour hotel bar

7pm Dinner

8.30pm back to hotel

 

Sunday

8am – 8.45am Pilates with Abbey

7.30am – 10am Breakfast at your leisure in hotel

10am Checkout

10.30am Coaching workshop 2

12.30pm Finish workshop

12.45pm Leave for Black Estate winery

1.45pm Lunch Black Estate winery 

3.15pm Back to Christchurch

 

*Please note you won’t be able to check in to your rooms until 2pm.

 

Here’s some thought starters for your packing list.

  • Loungewear – think comfortable and warm
  • Activewear for pilates, walks etc
  • A journal and pen to take notes
  • Swimwear if you’re planning on a dip
  • And if you’re swimming maybe your hairdryer from home as hotel hairdryers aren’t usually very effective. 
  • Be prepared for any weather – it is NZ after all!

 

Finally please remember to complete the form I attached in the email and send it back to me by Monday 7th June at the latest. This will ensure we capture where everyone is at and how we can ensure the Reset Retreat provides you with the optimal experience.
